This blog is coming from the perspective of a 30-something who lives alone with a dog in a large metro region, has what I like to call a commuter relationship, and has zero kiddos.

I think I'm part of an adventurous peer group looking to travel, experience good food and be a tourist in our own towns. We are old enough to understand the economic collapse, the housing crash, and the rising healthcare costs. We tend to take responsibility as good stewards of what we have and work hard for what we want. We are loyal to friends and family while trying to juggle the demands of our careers. We want to live with purpose. Wait, isn't that what everyone is striving for?


I just want to document parts of the journal and maybe even find some humor in this world we are navigating.
